George married Sandra (Creel) Maybee on March 19, 1977. He worked at Delfield for 30 years (1984-2014). George is survived by children Georgina (Lenn) Maybee-Scott of Culpeper, VA, David (Toni) Maybee of Alma, Cassandra (Amanda) Maybee of Wildomar, CA; grandchildren Carli, Leo, Sarah, Olivia, Ella, Allison, Patrick, and Bonnie; siblings Ivan Maybee of Mt. Pleasant, Diane Schrank of Cadillac, and Louise Maybee of Mt. Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews. George is preceded by both his parents and wife Sandra. Services for George will be Wednesday, September 13 at noon at Berry Funeral Home in Shepherd. There will be visitation from 11 a.m. until time of service. Published by Morning Sun on Sep. 10, 2023.
