Judith Ann (Mabie) Goldhahn, age 84, of Wilmington, Delaware died on April 6, 2026, peacefully at home with her daughters by her side.
Born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia, Judith graduated from John Bartram High School before moving to Wilmington, Delaware, in 1977. A lifelong sports fan, she proudly supported all Philadelphia teams, with a special passion for cheering on the Flyers, Eagles, and Phillies.
Judith began her administrative career at Harleco before moving on to Gulf Oil Refinery, where she broke barriers as the first woman to work on the dock-alongside men rolling oil drums and operating a forklift. She later continued her career as an Administrative Assistant at Hatzel and Buehler and John O. Goldhahn Concrete, where she remained until her retirement.
She was a devoted member of Holy Rosary Church, attended daily Mass at Saint Helena's, and participated in weekly Eucharistic Adoration at Immaculate Heart of Mary. Her faith was reflected in her service to others, as she generously volunteered with social ministries and the food closet at Saint Helena's Church.
Judith, prayed the Rosary daily, faithfully carrying a long list of prayer intentions close to her heart. She found joy in life's simple pleasures-strolling through craft fairs, sitting in her car at Fox Point Park watching ships pass by, and wandering the aisles of Home Depot and other stores, often searching for nothing in particular but delighting in the journey all the same. An avid reader, Judith also enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, always keeping her mind sharp and engaged.
Above all, Judith cherished the time she spent with her granddaughter and, later, her beloved "great-grands." She took immense joy in watching them grow and learn-playing with them, listening attentively, and sharing stories that created lasting memories filled with love and laughter.
Predeceased by her husband, John Goldhahn, granddaughter Kelly Ann Crawford, parents Alberta and Nicholas Mabie, brother Nicholas, and sisters, Joan and Barbara.
She is survived by her loving daughters Donna Marie McDonough (Tom) and Kimberly Porter (Gomer), great grandchildren, Emily and Jason, sisters, Janet, Jean, Nancy and Linda, many nieces and nephews, including her godchildren Lillian Palladino (George) and Robert Sands, and her nephew, Joseph Rulli (Debbie) whom she loved as a son.
