- Judith A. Stovey, age 77 of Gays Mills, passed away on Sunday June 7, 2020 at Gundersen Hospital in Boscobel, surrounded by her family. She was born January 17, 1943 in North Clayton Township Crawford County Wisconsin. The daughter of Emett and Eunice (Gander) Maybee. She married Burnie Christopherson in 1961, they divorced. She married Donald Stovey September 17, 1985 at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Days Saints in Montgomeryville. She is survived by her husband; Donald Stovey of Gays Mills. There children; Burnie (Andrea) Christopherson of Bell Center, Lori (Don) Brown of Gays Mills, Sara Christopherson of Bagley, Teri Christopherson of Cashton, Lisa ((Jody) Anderson of Viola, Cyndy (Gerald) Klatt of Richland Center, Craig (Heidi) Stovey of Reedsburg, Chad (Heidi) Stovey of Soldiers Grove, Shawna (Nick) Koch of Reedstown, David Pena of California. 26 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren. One brother; Jim Maybee of Gays Mills. Three Sisters; Donna Marie Coyne of Byron Illinois, Janet Pena of West Salem, Julienne (Bill) Baker of Viola, and Barney.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Michael Christopherson, two brothers: Leslie Maybee, Marvin Gander, and one grandson Carter Stovey.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday June 11, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. at the Maple Ridge Bible Church rural Boscobel. Pastor Noel Mayes, and Pastor David Smith Co-officiating. Burial in the Haney Ridge Cemetery, rural Mt. Zion. Friends may call on Thursday June 11, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the Maple Ridge Bible Church rural Boscobel. The Kendall Funeral Service of Boscobel is assisting the family.
