  	31 Aug 1914, The Charlottetown Guardian One of the quietest and prettiest weddings of the season took place on Wednesday evening (Aug. 26.) at 7 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Curtis, their daughter becoming the bride of Mr. C. Braden Jelly, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Jelly, St. Eleanor's and Principal of Victoria High School. Rev. G. M. Young performed the ceremony. The bride entered the room leaning on the arm of her father, by whom she was given away, the wedding march being skilfully rendered by the bride's sister, Miss May Curtis.
