  	1 Dec 1948, The Guardian, Charlottetown Inquest Ordered In Brookfield Man's Death A 72-year-old Brookfield resident, Mr. George MacDuff, was found dead at 7:20 yesterday morning about one mile from his home. Coroner Dr. I. J. Yeo was summoned and upon his arrival ordered that an inquest be held. A jury was empanelled and viewed the body after which the inquest was adjourned until next Tuesday at 2.30 p.m. It will be held in the Brookfield Hall. The result of the autopsy, which was held yesterday, will not be officially known until next Tuesday, but Superintendent N. J. Anderson of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police informed the Guardian last night that there was no suspicion of foul play. The late Mr. MacDuff, who had no family, lived with Mr. John McLeod about a mile outside the village of Brookfield which is located 10 miles west of Charlottetown. The jury comprises C. Stewart (foreman), A. Sentner, R. Andrews, J. McLeod, R. Wood, H. Sentner and B. McLeod.
