  	30 Mar 1946, The North Adams Transcript (North Adams, MA) One Killed, Two Hurt In Automobile Mishap Caribou, Me., March 30 -- Frank McDuff, 52, of Washburn was killed today and two companions were injured when their automobile crashed through a guard rail at the Bailey Mitchell bridge here and plunged into Caribou stream. The injured were Osborne Stairs and Kenneth 'Tige' Stevens of Caribou.
