- Isaac P. Mabie was a member of a strong loyalist family, his activities during the war are not recorded, although he was aware of what was going on In his neighborhood and was residing in British held New York when he married Sarah Post on June 3, 1781. He seems to have traveled to Nova Scotia in 1787. He later lived at Montvale where he had a saw mill and died there in 1835.

Mentions sons John (eldest), Isaac, Casparus, Myndert, Abraham and Jeremias "who is not capable of supporting himself" and daughters Gerretye, Sophia, Cathrina, Elizabeth and granddaughter Margaret (daughter of Anatie, who married Johanes Vanhorn). Not mentioned: sons Peter and Martinus.
NOTE: The published abstract of this Will does not include the name Casparus, although he is named in the written will.
