- Died on Wednesday, April 20th, Mrs. Mary Maybee, wife of David Maybee; at the residence of her son-in-law, Morris Brown, at the age of 81 years.
She had been a great sufferer for nearly nine years, from the effects of a stroke of paralysis, being merely able to move herself without assistance. Her husband, who is still living, is 87 years of age. They were among the early 'pioneers of the county, settling here in 1847, and they were believed to be the oldest: living couple in the county.
