  	Melissa R. Shaw, wife of Milton Shaw, died at theirt home in Sullivan, July 9th, at 11:15 p. m., after nearly a year's suffering She was born in Delaware county, N. Y., Dec 11th, 1838, one of a family of fifteen, three sisters surviving. She came to Sullivan with her parents when two years old. Mr and Mrs Shaw were married Dec 29, 1859. Eight children were born to them, six of whom are left to mourn the loving mother, namely: Mrs Samuel Smith, Little Marsh; Mrs Fred Bryan, Mainesburg; Charles M. Shaw; Mardin; Elmer, Leon, and Homer Shaw, Sullivan....
