- Mrs. Oliver Mabie of Kirksville died at her home there Tuesday afternoon. She was eighty-two years old and is survived by her husband, also two sons, Henry and Oliver Jr.; a daughter, Mrs. Wilbur Jones of Fayetteville and a sister living at Cazenovia. Mrs. Mabie was born at Eaton, but since 1865 had lived at Kirkville. She was a woman of ability and dearly loved by her family and friends. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, Rev. F. W. Betts of Kirkville officiating and burial was made at Kirkville.

- Funeral services for Mrs. Florrie Bull Mabie, formerly of Chittenango, were held Tuesday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Thelma Mabie Meier, 208 Green street, Syracuse. Dr. Frederick W. Betts, pastor of the First Universalist Church, officiated. Burial was made in Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Mabie died Saturday in Syracuse. Mrs. Mabie was born February 28, 1871, on Liberty street, halfway between Chittenango and Canastota. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Harriet Cady Bull. She was married to Oliver Mabie in 1892 and they made their home in Chittenango up to ten years ago, when they moved to Syracuse. Surviving Mrs. Mabie are her husband. Oliver Mabie; two sons, Edgar Bull Mabie, Donald Francis Mabie: two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Mabie Meier and Mrs, Doris Mabie West, all of Syracuse; two sisters. Mrs. Fred C. Bender of Canastota and Mrs. Henry K. Mabie of Kirkville, and two brothers, Daniel Cady Bull of Syracuse, and C. Francis Bull of Mason City, Ia .

- Funeral services for Oliver C. Mabie were conducted Monday afternoon at the C. R. Eaton Funeral Chapel. Rev. Ellsworth C. Rearnon of Syracuse, officiating at the rites. Burial was made in Canastota.
Mr. Mabie was born at Pools Brook, Town of Manlius, In 1872 and had lived most of his life in this vicinity. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Herman Mayer of Rochester and Mrs. Carlton West, of Syracuse; two sons, Edgar and Donald Mabie of Syracuse ;a sister, Mrs. Wilber M. Jones of this village, and six grandchildren

- Oliver Mabie, one of the best known and oldest residents of this locality. died at his home at Kirkville, August 3rd. Mr. Mabie was born on the farm where he spent his life April 4. 1826. and was a life long resident of that place. He was a successful farmer and widely known and respected. Mr. Mabie was the son of Mr and Mrs. David Mabie, early settlers of this locality. His wife, Mrs. Mabie, died just five months ago. Only a short time previous to her death. Mr. and Mrs. Mabie had celebrated their golden wedding. Mr. Mabie was 91 years old at the time of his death; within the past year his two sisters have also died, one aged 93 and the other 96 years. He Is also survived by two brothers [sons], Oliver jr. of Syracuse, Henry of Kirkville, who lives on the homestead, and also a sister [daughter], Mrs. W. M. Jones of Fayetteville. Mr. Mabie was a man active in all affairs, a staunch Democrat in politics and a member of the Universalist church Funeral services were held «t the home at Kirkville, Rev. F. W. Betts of Syracuse conducting the services and burial made in the local cemetery
