  	Mrs. Ann Mabie, widow of the late Major Elisha Mabie, died at her farm home in Mycenae on Thursday of last week. Mrs. Mabie had not been in good health for years, and the day before death had a shock of apoplexy, from which it was at once feared she would not recover. The deceased was 72 years of age, and for a great many years had been a resident of the locality in which she died. The family was among the early settlers and came to own large real estate. Mrs. Ambrose Mabie is her only daughter. Mrs. Mabie was well known, and was highly respected by all in this community. She was one of the oldest and most prominent members of the M. E. church at Kirkville. The funeral was held at the house on Sunday and was largely attended by relatives and friends of the deceased. Interment was made in Oakwood cemetery, Chittenango
