- I Anson G Maybee of the Township of Ameliasburgh in the County of Prince Edward and the Province of Ontario being of sound and disposing mind and memory (praised be Almighty God for the same) do make and publish this my last Will and Testament hereby Revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made.
First - I hereby Constitute and appoint my wife Hannah Mariah Maybee Executrix My Nephew Willet Maybee of the Township of HiIliear [sic] in the aforesaid County yeoman and my good frined Wm Anderson Esq. of the aforesaid township of Ameliasburgh to be Executors of this my last Will and Testament, directing my Executrix and Executors to pay all my just debts, funeral expenses, the Legacies hereinafter mentioned and to place a suitable monument at my grave within one year after my Decease.
Second - I give devise and bequeath to my son Wilbert Stanley Maybee all of my Real estate in lot number sixty in the second Concession of the aforesaid Township of Ameliasburgh subject however to any and all charges and legacies hereinafter mentioned.
Third - I give and bequeath to my said wife Hannah Mariah Maybee,
Wilbert Stanley Maybee and William Henry Maybee my two sons the whole of my personal estate of whatsoever character or description it may be - to be equally divided between them share and share alike, but my said wife shall have the full control of the said personal estate and the management of the same for the support and education of my children and her own support till my said son Wilbert Stanley Maybe shall attain to the age of twenty four years at which time the said property that is the personal estate shall be divided as aforesaid.
Fourth - I give to my said wife the full control of my real estate
aforesaid for her own support and the support of my said sons while she shall remain unmarried and my widow.
Fifth - I give and bequeath to my son William Henry Maybee one hundred dollars a year during his natural life and I make the same a charge on the lands and tenements hereinbefore willed to my son Wilbert Stanley Maybee and I hereby authorize my Executrix and Executors if necessary to secure the payment of the said legacy to sell and convey to a purchaser or purchasers so much of the said Real estate as will secure such yearly payments to him but I make this special provision that while my said wife and my son Wilbert Stanley Maybee or either of them shall afford and provide my said son William Henry Maybee a comfortable home and a comfortable living on the said Real estate or homestead farm the said legacy of a hundred dollars a year shall not run against the said Real estate or be payable to him but the said comfortable home and living shall be in lieu of the said legacy.
My Estate Real and personal shall be liable for my debts funeral
expenses and cost of monument. My real estate is willed to my son
Wilbert Stanley his heirs and assigns forever - but in all Cases subject to all the aforesaid provisions.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy eight.

- This is a codicil to the last Will and Testament of me Anson G Mabee of the Township of Ameliasburgh in the County of Prince Edward and Province of Ontario yeoman bearing date the thirteenth day of September 1878.
I do hereby revoke the appointment of ny Nephew Willet Maybee yeoman of the Township of HIlliar [sic] to be an Executor to my last Will and Testament. And I do hereby Constitute and appoint My Brother in Law John Calnan of the Township of Hilliar [sic] in the County of Prince Edward yeoman to be an Executor to my last Will and Testament and I do declare that the Word "Suitable Monument" in the 1st Section of my said Will shall mean nothing more than such a Tomb Stone as my Executors may see fit to erect. In all other respects I do confirm my last Will in ? whereof [ink blot] to set my hand and seal this 12th day of January AD 1879.
