- The small steamer Bruce, owned and sailed by Captain Maybee, which ran last season between Belleville and Oswego, and this season on the Bay of Quinte, has commenced her trips on a new route, between Kingston and Gananoque. The Bruce is a fine little boat, but is not likely to succeed in her new enterprize. The competition is already too great, with the Grand Trunk Railway and the Royal Mail Line daily, to more than barely recompense the owner of the steamer Gazelle, which makes trips 4 days in the week.4 Jun 1867 - The small steamer Bruce, owned and sailed by Captain Maybee, which ran last season between Belleville and Oswego, and this season on the Bay of Quinte, has commenced her trips on a new route, between Kingston and Gananoque.
