- Frederick Maybee died March 14, 1947 in Rochester. N. Y. Surviving are two sons. William and Frederick Jr., both of Fairport; four sisters, Mrs, Walter Tyler of Buffalo, Mrs. Herbert Lindsay of Rochester, Mrs. Eugene Faucet of East Rochester, Mrs. George Woodle of Boston; one brother, Charles of East Rochester; one granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Van Horn Funeral Home, Fairport, where services will be held Monday at 2 p. m. Rev. J. E. Dahlen officiating. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery.

- Funeral services for Frederick Maybee, who was struck and instantly killed by an automobile at Main and Jefferson Ave. in Rochester Friday evening, March 14, were held Monday at 2 p. m. from the VanHorn Funeral Home in Fairport.
Identification of the victim was held up several hours for lack of any means of identifying him. The only clue was a King & Scott label on his coat. Identity was made by a son.
Mr. Maybee had spent several years in Perry where he held employment in the Robeson Cutlery, Perry Knitting Co. and several other concerns.
Surviving are two sons William and Frederick Jr., both of Fairport, one brother Charles of East Rochester, four sisters, Mrs. Walter Tyler of Buffalo, Mrs. Herbert Lindsay of Rochester, Mrs. Eugene Faucet of East Rochester and Mrs. George Woodle of Boston. Also surviving is one granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. J. E. Dahlen officiating.

- Our member, William F. Maybee, #66, died on Friday, August 29, 1997. He had turned 80 on August 20, 1997. William F. Maybee of 2568 Nunnery Road, Skaneateles, and Sun Lakes, Ariz.. died Friday at his home.
A native of Fairport, he lived in Skaneateles 45 years and Arizona 20 years. He was a 1947 graduate of Syracuse University.
Mr. Maybee retired as a sales representative with Duro Arts Supply in Syracuse and formerly operated an International Harvester Dealership in Skaneateles,
He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Skaneateles and the Church of Christ in Sun Lakes. He was a Scoutmaster and was active in Little League Baseball. He was a member of the Skaneateles Country Club, the Sun Lakes Country Club and the Skaneateles Rotary Club.
Surviving are his wife, Katharine; a son, David DeSenda (formerly William Maybee) of Los Angeles, Calif.; a daughter, Marcia Maybee of Marcellus; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday in the First Presbyterian Church of Skaneateles. Burial is in Penfield Cemetery.
The family will greet friends following services at the church. Contributions may be made to the Borodino Volunteer Fire Department.
