- Delbert M. Maybee of Flint, age 79, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 8, 2010 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 12, 2010 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road and 9 a.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home, Reverend Michael Lusk officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery with a military graveside service under the auspices of VFW Post #822 Honor Guard. Visitation 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Delbert was born in Flint, Michigan on November 20, 1930, the son of the late Merton Maybee, mother Hazel and step-mother, Marie. Delbert graduated from Flint Central High School and attended GMI. He served in the U.S. Navy. Delbert married Florence K. Roberts on August 1, 1953 in Flint. Mr. Maybee retired from General Motors, AC Spark Plug Division in 1980, after 30 years of service. He was an Associate Member of the F.O.P. Lodge #126 for 25 years. Delbert was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing. Most of all he loved spending time at 8 Point Lake with family and friends. Surviving are loving wife of 57 years, Kay; seven children, Dallas (Linda) of Davison, Debbie (Doug) Delduca of Grand Blanc, Dennis of Burton, Diane (James) Ignace of Flint, Douglas (Louise) of Grand Blanc, Denise Blake of Davison and Dawn Richardson of Burton; 13 grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Jimi, Douglas, Daniel, Felicia, Shain, Tasha, Ian, Amber, Michael, Nicholas and Holly; 12 great-grandchildren; twin brother, Gilbert (Janice) Maybee of Ft. Myers; brother, Jack (Donna) Maybee of Cleveland; two brothers-in-law, Jack (Wanda) Roberts of Pennsylvania and Gary Roberts of Flint; sister-in-law, Sandy (Vernon) Like of Burton; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Lee Maybee; brother, Ronald Maybee of Georgia and nephew, Michael Maybee.

DELDUCA, Debbie Lynn -age 68 of Grand Blanc, Mi passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2024. A funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Sharp Funeral & Cremation Center located at 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan with Pastor Craig Dockery officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM Saturday until the time of service at the funeral home. Debbie was born on October 30, 1956, in Flint, Michigan to Delbert Merton Maybee and Florence Kay (Roberts) Maybee. She graduated from Atherton High School in 1974 and attended Baker College earning an associate degree while working at General Motors from 1985 to 1994. She married Douglas Delduca on July 29, 1986. When her second child was born in 1994, she decided to step away from her career to focus on her family life. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and spending time with her family. Debbie was a talented seamstress and had a love for cooking. She was a fashionista with a great passion for decorating and making all things beautiful. She could often be found planning the next family gathering, creating wonderful family memories for all. Debbie was a kind and generous person who loved life to the fullest.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Douglas Delduca; sons, Jimi (Kori) Hendricks of Flushing, Douglas (Amanda) Delduca of Swartz Creek, Daniel Delduca of Grand Blanc; step-daughter, Ashley Parker (Salman) of Flint; grandchildren, Leon & Izaiah Hendricks, Joseph "Jo Jo" Delduca, Carson & Caiden; step-grandchildren Gabriel Parker, Chloe Cosey, Chantz Coset; mother, Florence Maybee; siblings, Dallas (Linda) Maybee of Clio, Dennis Maybee of Davison, Diane (James) Ignace of Flint, Douglas Maybee of Grand Blanc, Denise (Matthew) Blake of Davison, Dawn Richardson of Davison. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Delbert Maybee; sister-in-law, Louise Maybee; mother-in-law, Maryanne Evans.
