- Mr. and Mrs. Louis V. Mabee of 301 First street, Scotia, cut their 50th wedding anniversary cake on June 18. Mr. Mabee, formerly employed by the General Electric Co., was retired Dec. 31, 1944. Mr. and Mrs, Mabee were married by the late Rev. Robert Rogers in the Reformed Church at West Glenvllle. Mrs. Mabee was the former Ella Weatherwax of Glenvllle. They have two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Vincent and Mrs. Arden Heath, both of Scotia; two granddaughters, Mrs. Charley Clay of Buffalo and Mis. Donald Van Wie of Scotia; and one great-grandson, Larry David Clay of Buffalo

- Mrs. Louis V. Mabee of 301 First street, Scotia, a past councillor of the Daughters of America, died Saturday at St. Clare's Hospital following a two-week illness. She was 70.
Mrs. Mabee, the former Ella A. Weatherwax, was born In Glenville and had lived in Scotia for the past 40 years.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. at the Mabee and Earning funeral home, Scotia, by Rev. Ernest Tripp, pastor of the Scotia Methodist Church. Burial will bo at Park cemetery, Scotia. The funeral home will be open tonight after 7 o'clock.
Mrs. Mabee was a member of Glen Council, Daughters of America; Palm Rebekah Lodge, Glenridge Grange and the Scotia Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Vincent of East Glenville and Mrs. Arden Heath of Scotia; a brother, Seymour Weatherwax of Charles City, Iowa; two grandchildren, Mrs. Charles Clay of Buffalo and Mrs. Donald Van Wie of Ballston Lake; a great-grandson, Larry Clay of Buffalo; a great-granddaughter, Brenda Van Wie of Ballston Lake; and a number of nieces and nephews

- Louis Vrooman Mabee, 80, Glenville, formerly of Scotia, died Monday at Glenridge Hospital.
Mr. Mabee was employed by the General Electric Co. until he retired, in 1943. He was a member of Glenridge Grange and the Scotia Methodist Church.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Vincent. Glenville. and Mrs. Arden Heath, Amsterdam; two granddaughters and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Mabee and Berning funeral home, Scotia

- Mrs. Ethel Mabee Vincent of 39 Pashley road, Glenville, died yesterday at Tucson, Ariz, while, on her way home from a visit to her daughter in Vacaville, Calif.
Born in Glenville, Mrs. Vincent had been a lifelong resident of the Glenville area. She was employed for six years at the Glenridge Hospital. She was a, member of the Methodist Church of Burnt Hills and the Glenville Grange 1544.
She was the widow of Kenneth Vincent.
Mrs. Vincent is survived by the daughter, Mrs. Donald Van Wie of Vacaville; a sister, Mrs. Arden Heath of Amsterdam; three grandchildren; one niece; and several cousins.
The funeral will be held at the Mabee Berning funeral home, Scotia, at 2 p.m. Sunday. Rev. Walter C. Kessler, pastor of the Burnt Hills Methodist Church, will officiate. The funeral home will be open after 7 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Park cemetery, Scotia

- Arden D. Heath, Mill Point Road, Amsterdam RD 1, died Sunday at Canajoharie following a long illness.
Born in Amsterdam, Mr. Heath was employed as a salesman for the Derstyne Tobacco Co., Albany, for many years and lived in Scotia before returning to the Amsterdam area 12 years ago. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elsie Mabee Heath; one daughter, Mrs. Charles Clay, Buffalo; his mother, Mrs. Lula Davis Munsell, Amsterdam; two half brothers, Ransom Munsell Jr., Schenectady, and Darwin Munsell, Scotia, and one grandson.
The funeral will be held at the Mabee-Berning funeral home in Scotia Wednesday at 1 p.m., the Rev. Roland S. Fredericks of the Second Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Park Cemetery, Scotia
