- Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Healy and Mabee funeral home, Scotia, for John B. Mabee, retired General Electric Co. employe. He died Thursday at his home, 332 Mohawk avenue, Scotia. Burial will be in Park cemetery, Scotia, after services conducted by the Rev. Dow S. Clute, pastor of Scotia Methodist church.
He retired in January after 40 years with the local company. He attended Scotia Methodist church. Besides his wife, Mrs. Emma D. Baker Mabee, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Bruce Fuller; four sons, Henry, Frank, Orville and John B. Mabee; three brothers, Louis, Stephen and Delbert Mabee, and seven grandchildren, all of Scotia

- A Schenectady truck driver, James Mabee, 25, of 1859 Becker St., was killed early yesterday morning when the stake rack truck he was driving ran off the Thruway three miles west of Westmoreland and burst into flames.
State police said Mabee, a driver for McCormick's Highway. Transportation Inc., 151 Erie Blvd., was headed west when his vehicle left the Thruway on a left curve, plunged off the right shoulder of the highway and crashed down an embankment into several trees where it caught fire.
Mabee's burned body was removed from the wreckage about two hours after the accident
Funeral arrangements are being made by the victim's uncle directors of the Mabee Funeral Home;
A native of Schenectady, Mabee graduated from Scotia-Glenville High. School and served several years in the Air Force. He had been employed by the trucking firm for about four years.
His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Maycashion Mabee, and a one-year-old daughter, Cimmie Lee. Also surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Mabee; two brothers. John Mabee of Syracuse and Gary Mabee. stationed with the army in Fort Riley, Kan.; and two sisters Mrs. Susan Smith of Sacramento, Calif., and Miss Sally Jean. Mabee of Scotia.

- Frank R. Mabee of 323 Glen Ave, Scotia, an area funeral Directory for 40 years, died Monday in Ellis Hospital after a brief illness. He was 77.
A lifelong resident of Scotia, Mr. Mabee was the director of the former Mabee and Healey, and Mabee Berning Funeral Homes at 1 Mohawk Ave. before his retirement.
He was a member of the Scotia United Methodist Church and the church of Worship commission. A member of the Scotia Kiwanis Club, her served as club secretary for more than 30 years.
Mabee was past president of the Gold and Silver Club and was a member of the board of directors. He was also vice president of the Scotia Relief Association.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Fox Mabee, two sons. Donald E. Mabee of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Robert K. Mabee of Bridgeport, Conn. a daughter Mrs. Myrna Dunay of Scotia. Two brothers John Mabee of Scotia and Orville Mabee of Syracuse, a sister Mrs. Addie Pfeiffer of Scotia; 12 grandchildren and a great grandchild

- John W. Mabee Sr., 75, of Culbert St., Scotia, NY died Saturday, November 13, 1993 at Ellis Hospital. He was predeceased by his son, James E. Mabee. He is survived by his wife, Helen M. Mabee; two sons, John W. Mabee, Jr., of Vestal, NY, and Gary D Mabee of Scotia, NY; two daughters, Susan A. Smith of Albequerque, N. Mwx., Sally J. Owens of Springfield, Va.; brother Orville Mabee, of Syracuse, NY; sister Addie Pfiefer of Scotia; twelve grandchildren; three great grandchildren; also survived by several nieces and nephews, Mr Mabee was born in Scotia, NY and was a 1936 graduate of Scotia High School. He was employed by General Electric in the Large Steam Turbine Divisdion in the 1950's. He then worked as a Dispatcher for the McCormick Mayflower Moving Co., until retiring in 1983. He was a World War II Army veteran, serving as a paratrooper in the European Treater. He was a member of the Scotia United Methodist Church.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. from Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home, Inc. with the Rev. Richard Campbell of Scotia United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Park Cemetery, Scotia....
