- Donald E. Mabee, 60, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday (Dec. 9, 1995) at Integrated Health Services. Born in Schenectady, N.Y., he came here in 1964 from Amsterdam, N.Y. Locally, he was former owner of Rainbow Cab Co., St. Pete Beach. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Lois R.; two sons, Jay, St. Petersburg, and Joseph, Niskayuna, N.Y.; two daughters, Kathleen Matern, Alplaus, N.Y., and Kimberly Abare, Schenectady; a stepdaughter, Lani Reed, St. Petersburg; his mother, Margaret Mabee, Syracuse; a sister, Myrna Dunay, Scotia, N.Y; a brother, Robert, Syracuse; and seven grandchildren. Gulfport Memorial Funeral Home.

- Frank R. Mabee of 323 Glen Ave, Scotia, an area funeral Directory for 40 years, died Monday in Ellis Hospital after a brief illness. He was 77.
A lifelong resident of Scotia, Mr. Mabee was the director of the former Mabee and Healey, and Mabee Berning Funeral Homes at 1 Mohawk Ave. before his retirement.
He was a member of the Scotia United Methodist Church and the church of Worship commission. A member of the Scotia Kiwanis Club, her served as club secretary for more than 30 years.
Mabee was past president of the Gold and Silver Club and was a member of the board of directors. He was also vice president of the Scotia Relief Association.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Fox Mabee, two sons. Donald E. Mabee of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Robert K. Mabee of Bridgeport, Conn. a daughter Mrs. Myrna Dunay of Scotia. Two brothers John Mabee of Scotia and Orville Mabee of Syracuse, a sister Mrs. Addie Pfeiffer of Scotia; 12 grandchildren and a great grandchild

- Maureen A. Mabee, 48, of 7921 Eisenhower Blvd., Bridgeport, died Tuesday, November 8.[sic]
She was born in New York City and lived in Bridgeport 26 years. She was a life member of the Bridgeport Fire Co. Auxiliary and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Bridgeport.
Surviving are her husband, Robert K. Mabee Sr.; three sons, Robert Jr. of Manlius, Patrick of Virginia Beach, Va., and David of Bridgeport; a daughter, Robin L. Mabee of Bridgeport; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles A. Thompson of Bridgeport; a brother, Richard Thompson of Vienna, Va.; a sister, Debra Holtsberry of Solvay; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Burial was in Pine Plains Cemetery, North Manlius.

Robert K. Mabee Sr., 85 of Bridgeport, New York passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024 in Atlanta, Georgia where he was residing.
Calling hours will be from 11am-1:00pm on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Traub Funeral Home, 7975 Route 31 Bridgeport, New York Services and burial in Pine Plains Cemetery, Kirkville, New York.
Bob was born in Scotia, New York, to the late Frank and Margaret Mabee on December 7, 1938. He married Maureen Purcell who predeceased him in 1988. He then married Patricia
Coessens and moved to Atlanta in their later years.
Bob was a United States Marine Corps veteran. He was a life member and former officer of the Bridgeport Volunteer Fire Department, Bob's passion was his family and youth football. He was a co-founder of the Cicero Falcons Pop Warner Football Program, where he dedicated his time for over 35 years. Bob could often be found mentoring his young football players.
Robert is survived by his wife Patricia Mabee ( Coessens ) of Atlanta, Georgia; children, Robert Jr.( Denise) Mabee of Liverpool, New York, Patrick Mabeeof Leesburg, Florida, Robin(David) Guinta of Lyncourt, New York David Mabeeof Hastings, New York; step-daughter, Alex Fenech of Atlanta, Georgia; sister, Myrna Dunay (Mabee), Scotia, New York; brother-in-law, Richard (Peggy)Thompson of Virginia; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

- The wedding of Miss Margaret Genevieve Fox, daughter; of Mr. and Mrs. E. Bauder Fox of Englewood avenue, and Frank Robert Mabee, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mabee of Mohawk avenue, Scotia, took place Saturday afternoon a t the home of the bride's parents. Rev. Morris A. Hammond, pastor of the Scotia Methodist Church, performed the ceremony, which was followed by a reception for 60 guests. The house was 'decorated with autumn leaves forming an arch. The wedding music was provided by William J.-Healy, violinist, and Forrest Chapin. pianist.
Miss Addie Mabee, sister of the bridegroom, attended the bride as maid of honor and John P. Snell of Malone, uncle of the bride, acted as best man for Mr. Mabee; The bride wore a gown of Nile green taffeta, princess style and embroidered In gold. Her boquet was of roses.
On their return from a wedding trip to Rochester, Canada and the Thousand Islands, Mr. and Mrs. Mabee will be at home at 332 Mohawk avenue, Scotia. Mr. Mabee is associated with William J. Healy, undertaker
