Obituary |
30 May 1934 [9] |
- Mrs. Emmanuel Maybee - Rawdon May 25 - Mrs. Maybee a life long resident of Rawdon Township, died at her home here this morning after an illness of two days. Mrs. Maybee was in her 84th year, seeminly enjoying good health of late. Her passing was received as a shock. She was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. John Snarr of Rawdon, her husband predeceasing her a few years ago.
One son George, now residing on the old homestead, lives to mourn the loss of mother, while six grandchildren and six great grandchildren sadly miss their loved relative. Three sisters, Mrs. Bedford and Mrs. Bailey of Rawdon and Mrs. Judd of Chicago and her two brothers Thomas and Fred of Rawdon survive.
The funeral will held on Sunday afternoon from Wellman's United Church and Interment in Wellman's Cemetery.
