The body of Frank E. Mabey of 192 Circuit road, the first Portsmouth Korean casualty to be returned home, will arrive at the local railroad station tomorrow at 5:08 pm.
Military Services for Mabey, who was killed in action Sept. 15, 1950, will be held Thursday at 1:30 pm at Little Harbor chapel under the direction of Commander Benjamin Thurlow of Emerson-Hovey post, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mabey was born in Beverly, Mass, July 22, 1922, the son of Mrs Jennie (Wortman) Mabey and the late James C. Mabey
After attending Beverly high school, Mabey came to Portsmouth where he was employed at the Morley company and later as caretaker of Carey estates on Little Harbor road. He formerly was employed at the Rand Lumber company in Rye.
He was a member of the Universalist Church in Beverly.
Besides his mother he is survived by his wife, Mrs Ruth (McLellan) Mabey; three sons Frank E. Jr, James R, and Richard B, all of Portsmouth; two brothers, William H. and James A, both of Portsmouth; one sister, Mrs Natalie Mucci of Beverly, and several neices and nephews

- Mrs Ruth Margaret Mabey, 41, of 14 Weald Road, widow of Frank E. Mabey who was killed in Korea Sept 15, 1950, died yesterday at Portsmouth Naval Hospital. She was born in Beverly, Mass Oct 5, 1920. Survivors include her father and three sons, Frank E. Jr, of East Moodus, Conn, James R. and Richard B, both of Portsmouth; a daughter, Barbara Jean, and three grandchildren.
