He was born a t Cottons, November 11,1840, and had always been a resident of this county. For many years Mr. Bull lived on a farm west of Canastota, now owned by the Murray estate, and several years ago moved to the farm on which he died. He is survived by a widow, formerly Miss Harriet Cady, his mother, four daughters, Mrs. Flora Mabie of Jainesville, Mrs. Fred Bender of Indian Opening, and Misses Minnie and Harriet Bull, who live at home ; two sons, Cady Bull of Syracuse, and Frank Bull of South Dakota, also two brothers, Charles Bull of the town of Lincoln, and Luman Bull of Indiana. Another brother, Marvin Bull, died only a short time ago of pneumonia.
Edgar Boll was a well known and popular man in this and surrounding towns ; possessed of a brilliant intellect, sparkling wit and biting sarcasm, well read and thoroughly posted on all events of the State and Nation. As a friend and neighbor h e was kind and generous, out of the largeness of his heart being always ready and willing to help and accommodate. To his family he was a loving and devoted husband and father. Edgar Bull was that type of man who will be greatly missed and always remembered.
Funeral services were held at the family home Thursday, at one p. m., and burial was made in Lenox Rural Cemetery at Quality Hill
