oObit*9 March 2013  On 9 March 2013 at Augusta, Georgia, the obituary of Diana L. Gillenwater read: Dianna (Gillenwater) Rook. Dianna went to be with her Heavenly Father 2/26/2013. She was 56 years old. Her family and friends will miss her tender loving smile and sweet personality. She was preceded in death by her loving mother Doris Gillenwater. Dianna leaves behind to cherish her memories her father William Gillenwater; brother David Gillenwater (Darcey); and sisters, Kathi Whittington (David), and Georgianne Singh. Diane also leaves behind her five children, Jackie Maybee, Gwen Maybee, Connie Rook, Rebecca Newvine, Jennifer Newvine, two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her boyfriend of 17 years who loved her dearly, Gene Durden of Monroe, Georgia. A private memorial service will be held in her honor 3-10-2013 at 2:30 at Burns United Methodist Church, Lumpkin Rd. The family asks that you remember Dianna in your thoughts and prayers.4
