  	Wheeler C. Vickers, 87, died Monday morning at his home, 16 Mill street, Canajoharie, after an illness of several months. He was born in Middlefield, Nov. 10, 1879, son of Dan A. Vickers and Adelia A. Bowers Vickers, and had been a resident of this village for many years. Until his retirement about four years ago he had been clerk with the Railway Express agency for 27 years. He was a member of the Methodist church and the Baraca class of the church. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Ruth S. Mabie Vickers of this village; one brother, Squire J. Vickers of Nyack; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at the Lens funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m. Rev. Edward R. James of Ilion, former pastor of the Canajoharie Reformed church, will officiate and the body will be taken to Troy for cremation
