  	Sister's obit The Late Mrs. (Dr.) Phelan Mrs. (Dr.) Phelan died quite unexpectedly at her home in Walsingham Centre on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 22nd, and was buried on Tuesday afternoon following. Her life since 1867 was spent in Walsingham Centre, where she made a great many friends. She was born in England and came to Port Rowan when a child with her father, the late John Leaton, Esq. After her marriage Port Rowan remained her home until her removal to Walsingham Centre. One sister, Mrs. S. P. Mabee, of Port Rowan, survives her. All of her living children, Christopher of Sault Ste. Marie; John of Port Arthur; Miss Susan Phelan and Miss Mattie Phelan were able to get home for the funeral.
