Note* | | With his brothers, John and Kenneth, Clinton fished outlet of lake and got wash tubs full of all kinds of fish. They played with a hoop made of a metal ring about 16" across and tried to keep it going with a stick with a cross bar attached., helped farm, picked berries, slid down hill, swam in lake, ate corn on the cob, hid eggs at Easter and tried to see who could eat the most. They played baseball together as a team with brother-in-law Ralph Beard.
Travel with Eleanor Roosevelt during World War 11 doing bond drives, very active Vice President with the Local Union for Desoto in Detroit, MI.
Bought two semi trucks and trailers and hauled ammunition during the war.
Moved from Detroit to Muncie, IN in June 1950 where he had a body shop and garage. Then bought another semi truck and went back on the road.
In June, 1953 moved to Plant City, FL to help his brother, Kenneth Pease, build subdivisions. Because of poor money management he returned to Muncie, IN in 1954 and returned to driving semi trucks. Then in 1974 he took over managing the Sa-Ru-Do Lounge in Alexandria, Madison Co., IN where he remained until his Cancer took over his body and he lived at his daughter, Dorothy's until his death.1 |

Three daughters, Mrs. Lydia Lindsay, Mrs. Nettie Root of Alma, Mrs. Mary Beard of Elm Hall, 26 grandchildren, 71 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren also survive.3 |
