In 1923 she began teaching in Powder River County and later in Galletin County and 23 years in Fergus County. She was married to Fred Maybee in 1956 at Roy and the same year received her degree in education from Eastern Washington College of Education in Cheney. In 1958 she retired from teaching. Survivors include the widower; a daughter Mrs Joe O'Hare, Colton, Wash; two sisters, Mrs R. P. Miller, Miles City, and Mrs A. B. Jones, Clarksville, Ariz; and two grandchildren Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Cloyd Funeral Chapel, the Rev. George Barnhart, First United Presbyterial Church officiating. Burial will be in Lewistown City Cemetery.6 |
