He was born June 5, 1919, in Oakley, the son of Daniel Leonard and Lavernie Fewkes Mabey. He graduated from the Oakley Academy. He served in the U. S. Navy and received an Honorable Medical Discharge. He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Western States Mission, where he met Barbara Jean Petty. They were married on June 10, 1941, in the Salt Lake Temple. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many capacities, and he especially enjoyed working with the youth. He was one of the original members and sang with the Oakley Men's Glee Club, was a charter member of the Oakley Vigilantes, and was President of the Oakley Valley Cattleman's Association. Don was a farmer and rancher all of his life. He loved to raise quality horses and cattle. He enjoyed riding horses and gathering cattle with the Wild Rose Bunch and the Oakley Valley Association. Don enjoyed spending time in the mountains, square dancing, and spending time with his family.Survivors include his wife, Barbara of Oakley; a son and daughter-in-law, Laroy (Donna) Mabey of Oakley; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie (Dave) Mayne of Gypsum, Colorado, and Charie (Ron) Hulse of Idaho Falls; a daughter-in-law, Sherry Mabey of Pocatello; four brothers, Paul Mabey, Charles Mabey, Robert Mabey, and Kent Mabey; two sisters, Roxey White and Norma Rees; eighteen grandchildren; and fifteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Derald Mabey; and a son, Barry Mabey.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2001, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Oakley Stake Center, with Bishop Thomas Nilsen, officiating. Charles married his eternal sweetheart, Catherine Hartley, on August 20, 1965 for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple.
Charles is survived by his wife, Catherine; sons, Brian (Linda), Keith, Michael (Sharon), Dennis (Christy), and Gary (Brenda); two daughters, Annette (David) Anderson and Karen (Peter) Kuhn; 29 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister Norma (Verl) Rees, Washington; brothers, Paul (Mae), Idaho; Robert (Marge), Logan; and Kent (Janet), California; many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald and Derald; sister, Roxy; and infant daughter.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 25, 2002 at 12:00 Noon at Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South, West Valley City. A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 24th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and one hour prior to the service.

He was born in Oakley, Idaho, May 9, 1931, to Daniel Leonard and LaVernie Fewkes Mabey. He was the seventh of eight children. He graduated from Oakley High School. After high school he served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Western Canadian Mission, where he met his future wife, Edith Marjory Lamb. They were married Aug. 14, 1953, in Wichita Falls, Texas, and sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on Dec. 4, 1954.
Robert enlisted in the Air Force in 1953 and served our country for 24 years before retiring to Logan. While in the Air Force, he served in Texas, France, Germany, Thailand and California.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Marge; his sons, Steven (Ronda) Mabey, Chris (Katrina) Mabey; his daughters, Kathy (Gary) Dempster, Kim (Ken) Olsen; thirteen grandchildren; and eight-and-a-half great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and LaVernie; four brothers; and one sister.
Robert was a devoted and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a branch president twice and in a branch presidency and on the high council and other various positions in the Church. The position he loved the most was being a Scoutmaster. He loved to do family history and learning about his heritage.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 in the Logan 10th Ward Chapel, 792 N. 500 East, with Bishop Joseph Day conducting. A viewing will be held prior to services from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Military rites and interment will be in the Logan Cemetery.1 
Burial He was buried at Logan City Cemetery, Logan, Cache County, Utah.7

She loved children and dedicated years of service touching the hearts and lives of many. Marco loved photography and gardening . She led a beautifully unselfish life. Words cannot express how much we loved her and she us. We look forward to the day when we can embrace her again.

Bea had a zest for life and a wonderful sense of humor and always looked for the good in people. Her memory was unmatched and she could easily recount in detail events from her childhood. She was an avid reader and loved gaining knowledge. The knowledge and gifts she attained were shared and benefitted others lives through teaching. She taught the fourth-grade in the Davis County School District for many years and had a lasting influence on many lives. She was a teacher of life and education and we will never know how many lives she touched. Bea was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and Fine Arts Guild. She loved the theatre and acted in plays while attending the University of Utah. Throughout her life she had a firm testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many capacities. Her family was the most important thing to her and she memorized every birthday of every child, grandchild, great-grandchild and great-great grandchild. She was remarkable in every sense of the word and an inspiration to all that knew her. The family wishes to thank all the nurses and staff at Barton Creek Assisted Living that lovingly cared for our Mother. Preceded in death by brother Alten, husband Maeser and daughter Marco Cushing. Survived by sons John Mabey (Kathy), Steven Mabey (Mary), Karl Mabey (Janet), Gordon Mabey (Susi), Son-In-Law John Cushing (Anita), 20 grandchildren, 38 great-grand Children and 14 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday February 19, 2010, at 12 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel located at 51 South Main, Bountiful, Utah.1

Marco was born June 15, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Beatrice Call and David Maeser Mabey . She married John Riley Cushing in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on January 31, 1958. Marco was a life long Bountiful resident. Marco was valedictorian of Bountiful High Class of 57. She attended BYU. She served faithfully in the LDS Church in many areas, including Primary President and ward and stake Young Women's President. She was an active Scout leader earning her wood badge, Award of Merit and Silver Beaver Award. Marco worked at Muir Elementary as the media center coordinator. She loved children and dedicated years of service touching the hearts and lives of many. Marco loved photography and gardening . She led a beautifully unselfish life. Words cannot express how much we loved her and she us. We look forward to the day when we can embrace her again.
Marco is survived by her husband, John, Bountiful; mother, Beatrice Mabey , Bountiful; children: Ruthanne (Jim) Hubbard, Cheyenne, WY; Julie (Reed) Nelson, So. Jordan; Kaye (Kelly) Barton, Peoria, AZ; Kenneth (Gail) Cushing, Bountiful; Gena (Tyrone) Pablo, Gallup, NM; brothers; John, Steven, Karl, and Gordon Mabey; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 10, 1997 at 12 noon at the Bountiful Central Stake Center, 640 South 750 East. Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-9 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main and again Monday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the church. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.8

She past away surrounded by her loving family and was reunited with her other loved ones on Valentines Day February 14, 2010. She was married in the Salt Lake Temple to Maeser Mabey on June 21, 1937; he preceded her in death by 38 years. If you knew Bea you loved Bea and it didn't matter who you were or where you came from. Bea had a zest for life and a wonderful sense of humor and always looked for the good in people. Her memory was unmatched and she could easily recount in detail events from her childhood. She was an avid reader and loved gaining knowledge. The knowledge and gifts she attained were shared and benefitted others lives through teaching. She taught the fourth-grade in the Davis County School District for many years and had a lasting influence on many lives. She was a teacher of life and education and we will never know how many lives she touched. Bea was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and Fine Arts Guild. She loved the theatre and acted in plays while attending the University of Utah. Throughout her life she had a firm testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many capacities. Her family was the most important thing to her and she memorized every birthday of every child, grandchild, great-grandchild and great-great grandchild. She was remarkable in every sense of the word and an inspiration to all that knew her. The family wishes to thank all the nurses and staff at Barton Creek Assisted Living that lovingly cared for our Mother. Preceded in death by brother Alten, husband Maeser and daughter Marco Cushing. Survived by sons John Mabey (Kathy), Steven Mabey (Mary), Karl Mabey (Janet), Gordon Mabey (Susi), Son-In-Law John Cushing (Anita), 20 grandchildren, 38 great-grand Children and 14 great great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday February 19, 2010, at 12 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Chapel located at 51 South Main, Bountiful, Utah.1

Tony graduated from Layton High School in 1996. While in high school he received an award for being in the top ten percent in the nation in Science and Math on his ACT's. Tony didn't think much of it, but his family was sure proud. Tony moved to Grand Junction in January, 1997, Denver in 2004, and back to Grand Junction in 2009. Tony was adventurous; he loved to play Texas Hold'em, and loved video games. Tony was a very bright individual that knew a lot of facts about almost everything. Tony is survived by his sister, Shannon (Doug) Richards; brother, Shaine (Dawn) Mabey; mother and father, and nephews and niece, Gabe, Rykin and Lauren Mabey. There will be a viewing for Tony Tuesday, July 20th from 7 - 9:00 p.m. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary located at 2515 Patterson Road, Grand Junction, Colorado. Visitation will also be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary prior to a grave side service Wednesday, the 21st at 11:00 a.m. at the Palisade, Colorado Cemetery.2
