oObit | 8 July 1993 | On 8 July 1993 at Des Moines, Iowa, the obituary of Margaret Estell Moburg read: Margaret E. Van Vleet, 82, of Gowrie died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Gowrie Care Center. Services will be Friday at Gowrie United Methodist Church and burial will be in Gowrie Township Cemetery. Mrs Van Vleet was born in Gowrie and returned in 1958 after 26 years in Des Moines, where she had been a beautician at the Savery Hotel. Surviving are a daughter Sharon Faulkner of Tucson, Ariz; a son Paul Mabee of Story City; three stepsons, Gerald of Los Angeles, Eugene of Washington, W. Va' and Clifford of Des Moines; six grandchildren; five step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.11 |
