He is survived by his wife of 61 years Doris (Goodenough) Mabee, whom he married May 17, 1941; three sons and two daughters-in-law Douglas Mabee of Mansfield, Richard A. & Sharon Mabee of Greenwich and Stephen & Dianna Mabee of Ocala, FL; four grandchildren Stephen, Kenneth and Dyanna Mabee all of Ocala, FL and Jeanette Mabee of Greenwich; and a brother and sister-in-law Robert E. & Charlotte Mabee of Mansfield.
A memorial service will be held Thursday December 27, 2001 at 11 am in First Presbyterian Church, 399 South Trimble Road, Mansfield. The Rev. Dennis Allison will officiate. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law Douglas Mabee of Mansfield, Richard A. and Sharon Mabee of Mansfield, and Stephen and Dianna Mabee of Ocala, Florida, four grandchildren Steven Mabee of Orlando, Florida, Kenneth Mabee of Ocala, Florida, Dihanna Mabee of Denver, Colorado, Jeanette and Michael Urbanof Ashtabula, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Robert E. and Charlotte Mabee of Mansfield, and nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 11 am in the chapel of First Presbyterian Church, 399 South Trimble Road, Mansfield. Friends may call immediately prior to the service. The Rev. Dennis R. Allison will officiate. The Marion Avenue Snyder Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.

She was a confirmed Episcopalian and a lifetime seeker of Catholic and spiritual truths.
Mariah is survived and beloved by George Zust; her children, Elizabeth Haithe Anderson, Mimms J. Mabee, John W. Anderson and his wife, Kathy, and Kate Anderson; seven grandchildren, Zoe Anderson, Ty Anderson, Winifred (Winnie) Mabee, Sigourney Christine Anderson, Katie Anderson, Sean Anderson and Daniel Anderson, as well as her brother, Charles Ray Mabee II, and his wife, Barbara.
Mariah was a spiritual inspiration to many, intolerant of the intolerant and sorely missed by those who loved her.
Memorials can be made to either the Putnam County Courthouse Clock Restoration Fund or the Seymour, Iowa Cemetery, her final resting spot. All memorials can be left at or mailed to Keedy Law Office, P. O. Box 205, Unionville, MO.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Book Barn on the West Side of the Square in Unionville, Missouri, between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2004, to celebrate the life of Mariah Mabee.5

Cherished grandfather of Ronny Reebe, Jr & his wife Zoe of Deerfield, NH, Sandy Wagner of Lunenburg & Michelle Woods of Natick. Great grandfather of Brooke Woods. Brother of Michael Mabee of Douglas & the late Patricia Otero & William Mabee. Also survived by several nieces & nephews.

Myers, Fla., Brad Rassi of Albany, Ore. and Eric Alan of Peoria Heights; eight grandchildren, Shane, Ryan, Christopher, Alyssa, Andrea, Steven, Grant and Lexi; four great grandchildren, Ivyn, Ian, Savannah and Bryson; one brother, Solomon Rassi; one sister, Leah Warren; and many nieces and nephews.
He attended grade school at Prairie Creek in rural Morton and graduated from Morton High School in 1949. Out of high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served overseas during the Korean War in the Philippines.
He worked for Keystone Steel and Wire before joining Roecker Brother Construction. Robert later worked for Otto Baum Company in Morton.
He enjoyed golfing, collecting coins, taking cruises and dancing with Janet. Robert was blessed with a very large and loving family whom he loved dearly.
He was a member of Morton VFW Post 5921.
He attended Apostolic Christian Church in Morton.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2019, at Morton Apostolic Christian Church, with church ministers officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 22, at Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton. Further visitation will be held Saturday, February 23, from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery in Morton, where military rites will be conducted.2

He was a member of the Warwick United Methodist Church and Warwick VFW Post 4662. A Veteran of the US Army, he served during WW II with the 2nd Armored Division. He is survived by his son, Robert B. Scott III of Florida, N.Y. and his wife Nancy; and his grandson, Matthew Scott. He was predeceased by a sister, Dora Ayers Jeffries. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, January 11 at the Lazear-Smith and Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Ave., Warwick. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the family plot in Warwick Cemetery.2
