Birth*21 April 1732 Catrina Clemens was born on 21 April 1732 at Phillipsburgh, New York.4
Baptism21 August 1732 She was baptized on 21 August 1732 at Old Dutch Church of Sleepy Hollow (now First Reformed Church of Tarrytown), Tarrytown, New York.4
Marriage*11 March 1748 She married Deliverance Mabie, son of Jeremias Mabie and Helena Magdalena Conklin, on 11 March 1748 at Old Dutch Church of Sleepy Hollow, Sleepy Hollow, Westchester County, New York.
"Deleverens Mebie, j.m., and Catrina Clemens, j.d., both born and living in Phillipsburgh."1
(Witness) Reasoning1750 Conclusion reached by John MayBee - DNA and history evidence from Nathan Van Wyck shows that the probably grandparents of Jeremiah Mabie (MS#3744) is Jeremias Mabie (MS#403) and Helena Conklin (MS#3261). They had two sons, Jeremias Jr (MS#3941) and Deliverance Mabie (MS# 3942).
Jeremias Mabie Jr (MS#3941) married in 1748, but his oldest known child was born about seven years later, which leaves room for Jeremiah Mabie (MS#3744) to be an earlier son. Jeremias Mabie Jr. had familial connections to the Strangs (via his maternal aunt) and to Westchester County (via his parents and siblings), I think it's conceivable that his children might have married members of the Strang family of Yorktown
Deliverance Mabie (MS# 3942) had two children after his marriage to Catrina Clemens in 1748, a son John, in 1749, and a son Deliverance abt 1751; after that no more is head of his family. Catrina's father's will showed her to be a widow in 1780. also applies to Jeremias Mabie, Helena Magdalena Conklin, Jeremias Mabie, Deliverance Mabie, Mary Clemens, Johannes Mabie and Jeremias Mabie
(Witness) Will15 May 1780 Catrina Clemens was mentioned in the will of Johannes Clemens on 15 May 1780 at Beekman Precinct, Dutchess County, New York. "In the name of God, Amen, May 15, 1780. I, JOHANNES CLEMENTS, of Beekmans Precinct, Duchess County, being of old age and weak in body. I will that my funeral charges and all my just debts and my son, Tobias Clements, be paid for my board and living. All the rest of my estate I leave to my daughter Cate, late wife of Deliverance Mabey, my son Thomas, my son Tobias, my daughter Rachel, wife of Gideon Hall, my son Peter, and to my three grandchildren, Thomas, Mariche, and Cornelius Clements, children of my son John, deceased. I leave to my two grandchildren, William and Gabriel Strang, the children of my daughter Hannah, deceased, wife of Gabriel Strang, one-seventh of my estate. I make my son Tobias, executor."
