Also I give and bequeath unto Abraham Mabee one half of Lot No Sixty One in the Second Concession of Ameliasburgh being the South West half - also I give and bequeath unto my son Henry the East half of Lot No Sixty One in the Second Concession of Ameliasburgh together with all the moveable property and Henry is to satisfy the Debts and to maintain his mother Katherine Mabee during her natural life - I also give and bequeath unto my son John five shillings, also unto my son Andrew five shillings; also unto my son Daniel twenty dollars paid by Henry my son - also I give unto Mary my daughter five shillings - also I give unto Phebe my daughter five shillings, also I give unto Elizabeth my daughter twenty dollars, also I give unto Katherine my daughter five shillings all to be paid by Henry except twenty dollars unto Elizabeth which twenty dollars Abraham is to pay her - And I also make and authorize Katherine my wife and Henry my son as my Executrix and Executor -
This I declare to be my last will and testament forbidding any Other heretofore made by me this seventh day of May One Thousand Eight Hundred And Sixteen I here unto set my hand and Seal. John (his X mark) Mabee."2

Will*26 February 1861 I, Peter C. Mabie, of Orangetown, in the County of Rockland and State of New York, considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, and being of a sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding (for which blessed Almighty God), do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following:
First: It is my Will, and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid and satisfied as soon as conveniently can be done after my decease.
Item 2: I give and bequeath unto my son Cornelius P. Mabie and to his heirs and assigns forever all my household goods and furniture, also all my wearing apparel.
Item 3: I give and bequeath unto Mary Ann Concklin, the wife of DeWitt C. Concklin, the sum of Five Hundred dollars.
Item 4: I give and devise unto my Son Cornelius P. Mabie, my land and farm at Old Tappan, near the dwelling of John Haring Jr. for his management and control during his natural life, receiving the income there of to his own use, hereby empowering him to sell the same to Mary Ann Concklin, the wife of DeWitt C. Concklin, or to any other person, or persons for such price as he shall see fit and give conveyance therefore, and the money arising from such sale to be placed at use with my other estate, as hereinafter ordered; and likewise hereby giving him power to give and devise the same to said Mary Ann Concklin, and in case of him not selling, or devising the same in manner aforesaid, then I do order my Executors to sell the same in such manner as they shall think right, and give sufficient conveyance therefore, and the proceeds to become a part of my estate to be disposed of as hereinafter mentioned.
Item 5: I do hereby order my Executors to invest and put out at interest all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, and the annual income after deducting the Expenses of investment and collection for each year, to invest in like manner during the natural life of my said Son Cornelius P. Mabie.
Item 6: I do hereby direct and empower my said Son, Cornelius P. Mabie by Will in such manner as he shall direct and think right, to bequeath and devise all the rest, and residue of my estate at the time of his decease as follows, unto the brothers and Sisters of my deceased wife, Rachel, or their children, and the children of such as are deceased, the one fouth part thereof, and the remainder thereof unto my brothers and Sister, or their children, and the children of such as are deceased, and in case of said Cornelius P. Mabie not ordering and bequeathing the same as aforesaid then the same must descend after his death to the same persons as aforementioned, the children of deceased persons taking the share of their ancestor.
Item 7: It is further my Will and I do direct that in case of untoward circumstances, my said son Cornelius P. Mabie should not have property sufficient to support himself and family in a decent manner then there may be expended of my said estate so to be invested as aforesaid such amount as may be necessary for said purpose and in case of his wife Mary him surviving, then the same provision of support and maintenance relating to my said Son Cornelius P. Mabie shall apply to said Mary during the time she shall remain the widow of my said son Cornelius.
Item 8: I order and direct my Executors to settle up the Income of the money invested annually and take their pay out of the same for their trouble and expenses for each year.
Item 9: In case of my son Cornelius P. Mabie departing this life and having lawful children living at the time of his decease, then my will is that the whole of my estate in the hands of my Executors at that time shall go and belong unto such child or children, their heirs and assigns forever.
Lastly: I do hereby appoint my Son Cornelius P. Mabie and nephew Garret S. Demarest, Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made.
In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal the Twenty-sixth day of February in the year one thousand eight hundred and Sixty-one . Peter C. Mabie ((LS.)12

To tho defendants: You are hereby summoned and required to answer the complaint in this, action, which was filed in the office of the Clerk of tho County of Rockland, at Clarkstown, in said County, on the 22d day of February, 1884, and to serve a copy of your answer to the said complaint on the subscriber, at his office, in Piermont, in the County of, Rockland, within twenty days after tho service of this summons upon you, exclusive of too day of such service; and if yon fail to answer the said complaint within the time aforesaid, the plaintiff in this action will apply to the Court for tho relief demanded in the complaint – Dated February 6, 1864."15 
Burial*1869 He and Rachel Blauvelt were buried in 1869. Inscription "A provision was made for in son Cornelius's will for the purchase of a cemetery lot, and for the removal of the remains of his father, mother and an unnamed son of his to be removed from the vault of Frederick J. Haring and to be interred in the new lot."16
