oObit*  The obituary of Thomas B Fulcher read: Funeral services, for the late Thomas B. Fulcher, many friends assemble to pay their last respects, sermon by Rev. Geo. B. Marsh of Detroit. The funeral of Thomas B. Fulcher, who died suddenly of heart failure on Wednesday morning of last week, took place from his last residence Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The services were conducted by the Rev. Geo. B. Marsh of Detroit. Elon Gauntlett and Mrs. Nina MacLachlan rendered sweet music and Mrs. George Steidle played the accompaniment. Those who acted as pallbearers were D. B. Seeley, William Gauntlett, Walter Draper, James Johnston, Frank Van Schoick and Lynn Barnes. Interment was in Rice's cemetery. Thomas B. Fulcher, third son of Wm. and Sarah Fulcher, was born in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada, July 13, 1834. The family consisted of five brothers and two sisters, of which Robert of Maderiaville, IN. George and Mrs. Morford of Coldwater survive. In 1843, the family came to Michigan and established a home in Exeter, Monroe county. Here Mr. Fulcher grew to manhood and on July 8, 1855, was united in marriage with Mercy J. Scripter of Girard, Branch county. She died Dec. 2, 1866, leaving one son, W. P., of London. On February 25, 1868. Mr. Fulcher was married a second time to Esther Maybee, who survives him together with three children, Clark A. of Monroe, Milo O. and Mrs. Julia Lee of Milan, a son, Perry, having passed away in infancy. Mr. Fulcher was a veteran of the civil war, being a member of the 11th Michigan cavalry, which was mustered into actual service Dec. 10, 1863, at Kalamazoo, MI and received an honorable discharge at Nashville, TN, Sept. 22, 1865, having seen hard service in the campaigns in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Virginia. After he returned from the war he lived in Coldwater, MI with his family for a time, then came to Monroe county where after a short residence in Exeter, he came to Milan township, where he resided for the balance of his life with the exception of four years spent at Scofield. Latterly Mr. and Mrs. Fulcher, in consequence of Mrs. Fulcher's infirm health, made their home with their son and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Lee. Mr. Fulcher was a member of Lucius Taylor Post, No. 274, GAR. Mr. Fulcher had not been ill, but was completely worn out from anxiety and care for his invalid wife. Deceased was a kind father and a loving and devoted husband. He was highly respected by all who knew him. Card of thanks, We wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the friends who assisted us in our recent bereavement to the singers for their services, and to the friends for the floral offerings. (Witness) oObit15 July 1917 Lot Delbert Mabie was mentioned in the obituary of Zipporah Elizabeth Jacques on 15 July 1917 at Warsaw, Indiana; Mrs. Zipporah E. Kist, widow of A.T.S. Kist and one of Warsaw's oldest and most highly respected citizens, died at 10:30 o'clock on Wednesday forenoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ora Funk, corner of Market and Indiana streets. Mrs. Kist's death followed a long period of sickness. She had been an invalid for the past twenty-two years, her sickness dating back to injuries received in a fall. During the past two years her condition was very serious. Mrs. Kist had been a resident of Warsaw for more than half a century. She was born in Wood county, Ohio. At the time of her death she was in her eighty-third year. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Ora funk, with whom she lived; Jasper Mabe, of Whitten, Iowa; Dr. L.D. Mabie, of Kansas city, Kan; Dayton Mabie, of Sioux City, Iowa. The funeral will be held at the home on Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m., Rev L.J. Naftzger officiating. Interment will be at North Webster.12

His body was brought here today.
Mabie arrived in Estes Parl by automobile at noon yesterday and visited with two Kansas City friends, Richardson Rome and Miss Elizabeth Brewster.
Late in the evening Mabie announced he was starting the return trip to Kansas City. Shortly after he had started toward Denver, Rome and a friend, Harry Grubb started for Denver on a business trip they said. Ten miles from Estes Park they found Mabie in a dying condition in his car parked at the roadside.16

Funk, aged 84, a life-long resident of this city, died at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George W. Anglin, of 504 East Center street, following a serious illness of 10 days, death being due to thrombosis. She had been an invalid for a number of years and received the constant and devoted care from Mrs. Anglin. She was the former Miss Ora Mabie, and was born Nov 13, 1863, the daughter of Lot and Zipporah (Cox) Mabie. She was married in 1884 to Mr. Funk, who is deceased. Mrs. Funk was well-known as a vocalist. For many years she was soloist at the First Methodist church where she was an active member for over 50 years. She was also a member of the Zerelda Reading club. Surviving relatives include her daughter, Mrs. Anglin; one son, Joseph L. Funk, of Phoenix, Ariz; a grandson, Joseph Funk Anglin, of Los Angeles, Cal; and a brother, Dr. D.L. Mabie, of Kansas City, Kan. Friends will be received at the residence of Mrs. Anglin after 2 p.m. Thursday until the funeral service which will be held there at 2 p.m. Friday. Rev. R.C. Plank will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. Arrangements for the service are being made by the Landis funeral home.19

Kist and one of Warsaw's oldest and most highly respected citizens, died at 10:30 o'clock on Wednesday forenoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ora Funk, corner of Market and Indiana streets. Mrs. Kist's death followed a long period of sickness. She had been an invalid for the past twenty-two years, her sickness dating back to injuries received in a fall. During the past two years her condition was very serious. Mrs. Kist had been a resident of Warsaw for more than half a century. She was born in Wood county, Ohio. At the time of her death she was in her eighty-third year. She is survived by the following children: Mrs. Ora funk, with whom she lived; Jasper Mabe, of Whitten, Iowa; Dr. L.D. Mabie, of Kansas city, Kan; Dayton Mabie, of Sioux City, Iowa. The funeral will be held at the home on Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m., Rev L.J. Naftzger officiating. Interment will be at North Webster.5

She had been an invalid for a number of years and received the constant and devoted care from Mrs. Anglin. She was the former Miss Ora Mabie, and was born Nov 13, 1863, the daughter of Lot and Zipporah (Cox) Mabie. She was married in 1884 to Mr. Funk, who is deceased. Mrs. Funk was well-known as a vocalist. For many years she was soloist at the First Methodist church where she was an active member for over 50 years. She was also a member of the Zerelda Reading club. Surviving relatives include her daughter, Mrs. Anglin; one son, Joseph L. Funk, of Phoenix, Ariz; a grandson, Joseph Funk Anglin, of Los Angeles, Cal; and a brother, Dr. D.L. Mabie, of Kansas City, Kan. Friends will be received at the residence of Mrs. Anglin after 2 p.m. Thursday until the funeral service which will be held there at 2 p.m. Friday. Rev. R.C. Plank will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. Arrangements for the service are being made by the Landis funeral home.8

Mabee in November 1905; There are but few people in Prince Edward County but will remember the cheery face of Mr. Isaac Mabee, and his death has cast a gloom over this vicinity. He was a kind and loving husband and father, a good neighbor, a friend to the needy; energetic; in business, and to know him was to admire and respect him.
He was born in 1820 and was married in 1841 to Miss Jemima Williams, who died in Denver shortly after their removal to that place. After the loss of his beloved wife he returned to Canada, and lived at the home of his daughter, Mrs, B. F. Comins, until the time of his death, Nov. 1st, 1905, when. he passed peacefully away in the 86th year of his age. He was a member of the Methodist church for many years and died in the faith. He leaves Behind him six children to mourn his loss. Mrs. Mary E. Roblin, of Rochester, N. Y; Mrs. B. F. Comins, Thurlow; Mrs. J. J. Moses, Denver, Colo; W. A. Mabee, Denver, Colo; P. A. Mabee, Odessa, Ont., and M. I. Mabee, of this place.
His remains were placed in Cherry Valley cemetery to await the final call.

Mrs Mabee was 75. She had lived 51 years in Colorado. She was born in 1856 in Belleville, Canada, and came to this state in 1880 with her husband W. A. Mabee.
They homesteaded near Derby, Colo, and continued to farm there until Mr Mabee's desth in 1919. Since that time she had lived at the Utica street address, with her daughter Mrs Ethel Coomer.
Mrs Mabee was a devout church worker and was a member here of Galilee Baptist Church. She had spent her winters in California for several years
She is survived by a son, Alfred L. Mabee, and a daughter, Mrs Ethel Coomer, both of Denver; five grandchildren [Harold Rogers, Grace Smith, of Los Angeles, Winett, Lucille, and Betty Coomer], a brother and a sister.
Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.9

He was a kind and loving husband and father, a good neighbor, a friend to the needy; energetic; in business, and to know him was to admire and respect him.
He was born in 1820 and was married in 1841 to Miss Jemima Williams, who died in Denver shortly after their removal to that place. After the loss of his beloved wife he returned to Canada, and lived at the home of his daughter, Mrs, B. F. Comins, until the time of his death, Nov. 1st, 1905, when. he passed peacefully away in the 86th year of his age. He was a member of the Methodist church for many years and died in the faith. He leaves Behind him six children to mourn his loss. Mrs. Mary E. Roblin, of Rochester, N. Y; Mrs. B. F. Comins, Thurlow; Mrs. J. J. Moses, Denver, Colo; W. A. Mabee, Denver, Colo; P. A. Mabee, Odessa, Ont., and M. I. Mabee, of this place.
His remains were placed in Cherry Valley cemetery to await the final call.
