Anecdote*1715 The will of Sophia Romeyn, the sister of Christian, who was the wife of Frederick Schuurman (Lysbeth's parents), written in 1715, specifically mentions four daughters of Caspar Mebie and Lysbeth Schuerman: Christyntie, Affie, Sophia (Feytie) and Catharine. The baptisms for the latter 3 daughters have not survived. Since Affie married in 1717 and Sophia in 1719 and since Catharine appears to have had her first child in 1725, it is guessed that Affie was born in 1696 or 1697, Sophia in 1697 or 1698, and Catharine in 1703. In addition, Caspar apparently also had a son, Simon, born approximately in 1701 (baptism record did not survive). Therefore, these four children are: Affie (5-4), Sophia (5-5), Simon (5-7), and Catherine (5-8).

Anecdote Grenville McKenzie states that he married a second time to an unnamed spouse and that the youngest three children were by the second marriage.3 
Anecdote* Family moved to Yorktown, NY sometime after 1732. Simon was a Loyalist in the American Revolution and in 1783 at the advanced age of 82, he led a mass exodus of children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren to New Brunswick , Canada in the various spring summer and fall fleets of that year. He settled at St. Stephen NB, Canada and died soon afterward.3 
Marriage He married Marie Landrin, daughter of Gullaume Landrin and Marie Sicard, at New Rochelle, Westchester County, New York.4,5

Anecdote*1775 In 1775, several communities voted on a General Association, supporting the Continental Congress. Frederick Maybe and Simon Maybee, members of John Bedell's Company of the Dutchess County Militia, Rombout Precinct, opposed the measures recommended by Congress.6 
Immigration*1783 Simon was a loyalist in the American Revolution and in 1783 at the advanced age of 82 led a mass exodus of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren to New Brunswick Canada in the various spring, summer and fall boats of that year.3,4

Also mentions, at fair length, grandson Lebbius Mabie (only grandchild mentioned). Steve Mabie writes, "My impression from reading this will is that Lebbius was an orphan. There is no mention of his parents, only a reference to "his uncle, Levi Mabie". Lebbius was definitely under 21 at the time this will was written. Note that in The History of Putnam County (Pelletreau), Lebeus is listed as a son of Peter. This is not correct, based on Peter's will."77"

NY until Abt. 1790 or (another source said 1797) when Daniel and Rachel & 5 children moved to Delhi, Delaware Co., NY. First of long line of Dutch Reformed people to become Baptist, he supported himself by brickmaking & coopering of barrels during week, so that he could self-support preaching on Sundays. Abt. 1818 moved with family (abt 13 or 14 children) to Castile, Wyoming Co., NY.1

In two others deeds with the same date, Benajah Beardsley and his wife Rebecca sold two tracts of land containing some 115 acres to Peter Mabee for a total of 600 Pounds. One of these tracts was bounded in part by lands already owned by Peter, and the other was bounded in part by lands of Abraham Mabee.3
