Pleasant, pianist, rendered the Lohengrin Bridal chorus and Alma and Luella Johnson, sisters of the bridegroom sang Carrie Jacobs Bond's "I Love You Truly.*' The bride, gowned In white mousseline de sole, entered on the arm of John Willard Gansworth. She wore white veil and lace gloves to match. The bride carried a bouquet of vari-colored sweet peas, gypsophila and ferns. Elizabeth Oansworth, maid of honor, carried a similar bouquet. The bridesmaid wore an ankle length pink organdie gown. Joyce Kocsis, flower girl, was garbed in similar material. Mr. Gansworth was best man. The Rev. Emery Kocsls, pastor of the Tuscarora Baptist church, officiated at the single ring ceremony. Following the ceremony, covers were laid for a wedding supper at a u-shaped table on the church lawn serving 110 guests. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson will be at home after August 10 at the Johnson residence. Mt. Hope road. Lewiston. Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Maybee, of Iroquois."12,13 |
