Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012, at Johnson Funeral Home Jacksonville with the Rev. Mickey Cox and the Rev. Mike Koonce officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.13

(Witness) Anecdote Oliver W. Mabee, son of Oliver D. and Susan Mabee, was born in Ontario Canada on Feb 17,1857. He moved to Lincoln County, Iowa with his parents when he was 14 years old. The family moved to Sioux City, Iowa , and in 1876 they came to Turner County, D.T. and homesteaded in Germantown township. He married Ida L. Chrisman in 1883. They were parents of 2 children: Susie (Mrs. Roy Costain), and Fred. Ida died in 1887 and in 1888 he married Emma L. Chrisman, sister of his first wife . They were parents of a daughter, Ida Mabee Kilpatrick. They also gave home to a niece , Ethel Cheney (Mrs. Fred Polley). In 1910 Fred W . Mabee and his family moved into Parker. He died on April 7, 1932 .9 
(Mentioned) oObit1 November 1972 Ida Leota Mabee was mentioned in the obituary of of Fred Mabee on 1 November 1972 at Billings, Montana; Fred Mabee, 85, Roy, died Sunday at Central Montana Hospital, Lewistown, after a lengthy illness.
He was born Feb 22, 1887, at Parker, S.D., a son of Mr and Mrs Oliver Mabee. He moved to Roy in 1909 and freighted out of Hilger until 1912 when he filed a desert claim nine miles north of Roy.
He ranched in the area except for two years service with the US Armed Forces during World War I.
On June 7, 1956 he married Mona May Grogan at Miles City. She died in October. Survivors include his half-sister and two nieces.
Funeral services will be Thursday at the Cloyd Funeral Chapel, the Rev Arthur Heath, First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lewistown City Cemetery.10
